Ludhiana: After providing support to various trade unions from various departments on the implementation of the sixth payment committee, the Sangharsh committee of a city employee in Ludhiana has announced a pen strike on Thursday for three hours starting at 9 am.
Union members told the city Commissioner that employees complained that they were forced to sign the option form for the sixth payment commission.
Union members claim that they will not allow the government or authority to press it for any reason.
They said they would support other unions from Punjab who had announced to strike a pen on Thursday.
