Kolkata: A businessman who allegedly jumped from the terrace of his apartment in Kolkata on Saturday morning, police said.
The incident occurred in the region of the police station at around 6am, they said.
Introduction Investigations revealed that employers, Suraj Agarwal, had a large number of debts and were under mental pressure, said a police officer.
“The wife and child are not home today.
He went to the terrace of his flat like every morning and allegedly jumping up and down,” the officer said.
Local residents who found his body in a pool of blood took him to the nearest hospital where the doctor said he was taken dead, police said.
This incident is being investigated thoroughly, they said.
