CM chaired reviews with the Minister of Handloom and Textile R Gandhi and officials at the Secretariat.
He asked them to promote handloom clothes to a higher income group.
Officials have asked CO-OPTEX to adopt new technologies to produce new designs for all age groups, especially the younger generation, and promote products among high-income groups to increase income to help the community.
