Engineers learn the works related to water conservation, renovation of water bodies, waste disposal and steps taken to deal with problems related to mobility of engineers from various local bodies in Karnataka.
They visited the rejuvenation and lake projects taken by the corporation under City City projects.
Seven water bodies, including valankulam and ukkadam periyakulam, are part of the project.
They also visited the wastewater treatment plant in Nanjundapuram, the command center and control center and the construction site of multi-level car parking, the project was almost complete.
The team appreciates the road model work brought on Jalan DB, where utilities such as electricity and telecommunications lines are placed underground and the facilities are established so that the road does not explore repair work.
A senior company official said the Civic body has set benchmarks in various works.
The waterbodies renovation works is something that even other civil bodies in the state they want to emulate.
All waterbodies can be managed better after the waste processing plant work is complete and used, the official said.
