Sydney: A total of 10 English players can be forced to get out of the Australian ash tour if an agreement is not achieved from travel and quarantine arrangements for their families.
According to a report at the ‘Sydney Morning Herald’, not happy with the lack of progress of Australia’s Cricket on the front, many English players consider pulling out if their demands are not fulfilled.
At the meeting of British troops in Headingley this week, it was understood there was a mount frustration about the lack of progress by Australian cricket during quarantine rules, which were reported every day.
Australia has several of the most stringent Covid-19 quarantine regulations and their cricketes currently serve two weeks at the Adelaide Hotel after returning from the West Indies and white white ball tours and Bangladesh.
The Australian players are also not permitted to practice at this time.
It can be understood that CA does not have enough influence on the government there and even individual countries can impose a ban or close the city completely with fast notice, disturbing all the agreements made before the player leaves England.
CA said on Saturday it worked closely with government officials and health in its quest to find a solution.
“The Australian Cricket continues to work with the ECB (UK and Wales Cricket Board) and the government government in Australia regarding the upcoming ash series, which will be the center for one of the biggest seasons in the notes,” Read Ca Statement.
“We are planning operational requirements from this tour and working with the ECB in the proposed arrangement of the English tour party.” Just as last season, CA will work constructively and in partnership with the government to give birth to summer.
Cricket, while ensuring health, welfare, and safety of the community.
“The series of five tests are scheduled to be held from December 8 to January 18.
