England is committed to ash after Joe Root confirms participation: report

Melbourne: England has been committed to touring Australia because of ash after the fear of players on Covid-19 conditions was completed at a meeting between the State Cricket Board and England captain Joe Root on Tuesday, British media reported.
Root confirmed its participation in a five-test series at a meeting and the possibility of joining full forces, the Daily Telegraph reported, even though the players had voiced doubts about the tour at Covid-19 “Bubble”.
Cricket Australia (CA) cannot comment immediately.
CA, British cricket board and Wales (ECB) and the Australian authorities have negotiated for months during the conditions of touring in the country where international arrival must be isolation in the hotel quarantine for 14 days, regardless of the Covid-19 vaccination status.
One of the biggest shooting points is whether family members can join English players in Australia during the Christmas and New Year period.
The Australian border is closed effectively for non-citizen and non-permanent residents.
Captain White Ball Australia Aaron Finch said he sympathized “completely” with concerns of British players but nice to hear the resolution has been achieved.
“They have played a lot of test cricket so I can understand where they came from,” Finch told reporters on Wednesday’s call.
“Comrades are on the road for much longer than what tour is used to go (for) when you add quarantine at the beginning and potentially in the end.” It was difficult but nice to see Joe’s (root) support it and they will go down.
“Media Australia reported authorities offering English players, staff and family using the gold beach resort in Queensland State for Quarantine before the first test began in Brisbane on December 8.
Families arriving for the Christmas period can be accommodated in a resort in Yarra Valley on the outskirts of Melbourne Before the boxing test began December 26, Sydney Morning Herald reported on Tuesday.
This tour poured around $ 200 million ($ 145.64 million) into Australian confirmation cricket, according to local media estimates.
