Sydney: England will send four million doses of Covid-19 vaccine to Australia, Scott Morrison’s Prime Minister announced Friday, when his country ran to stop the deadly virus outbreak.
The Australian leader said the plane that gave a dose of the Pfizer vaccine was “in Tarmac” in England and would give “four million doses of hope” in a few weeks.
Some of the largest cities in Australia are in locking and the number of cases and deaths continue to increase, because the very contagious Delta variants spread throughout the country.
Australia has a stable supply of the AstraZeneca vaccine produced locally, but residents have hesitated to take it because the vaccine instance is rarely published but is very published.
About 40 percent of Australians are fully vaccinated, far behind the richest countries, and the last 18 months have been marked by on-off limits.
Morrison said the vaccine delivery of “Downing Street down” was “a good deal between friends”.
“Thank you Boris, I owe a beer,” Morrison refers to his British colleague, Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
As part of the swap agreement, Australia will transfer four million doses of the Pfizer vaccine to England later on.
The most dense situation of the New South Wales reported 12 deaths again on Friday, with everyday toll expected to surge more than a thousand people now the virus contract every day.
