ENGR detained for 56 reshuffle, not happy with salary

Nashik: A 27-year-old civil engineer was arrested here recently because of his involvement in cases of whopping chain-screving in the city since 2019.
The Engineer, Umesh Patil, was hired but was not satisfied with his salary, police said.
He will flip through the money he gets from selling a chain on his girlfriend by taking him out to several wineries around the city, they said.
Patil partnered with one Tushar Dhikle (30) in 20 of 56 cases of chain assembling.
Duo separated from November last year after that Patil alone claimed 36 chains.
After the arrest of Patil on October 21, the police arrested Dhikle and four city jewelry.
One jewelry is the relationship between chain snatchers and three other jewelry to sell gold chains.
The six defendants at this time in police custody.
Speaking to MediaPereka, the City Police Commissioner Deepak Pandey said Patil was smart enough to ensure that he was not caught.
It is a challenge to track chain snatchers that operate alone, he claims.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Amol Tambe said Patil was the son of a security guard working in Mumbai.
After completing the technical course from City College in 2015, Patil worked with a contractor but was not satisfied with his salary and decided to seize the golden chain.
Pandey said, “Police Gangapur led by Senior Inspector Riyaz Shaikh has done an extraordinary work in Nabbing Patil.
Shaikh is the youngest of all senior inspectors in the field and took over the Gangapur Police Station just a few months ago.
He studied CCTV recording Available to make a plan for Patil Nab.
“Shaikh said he identified a certain area to patrol and maintain vigilance.
Some areas are patrolized by police vans and the rest by plainclothes police.
On October 21, the police boarded Millind Pardeshi and police Ghanshyam Bhoye saw Patil at a slow speed on his motorcycle and followed him.
When Patil took U-round on the road to approach an old woman wearing jewelry, two police officers drove and hit their motorcycle against Patil.
The three fell to the ground and was injured but the police were Nabbed Patil.
Patil wore two jackets on top of the t-shirts.
When the police removed the jacket up, they found the bag tied to his shoulder which had a two-wheeled number plate and screws in addition to three masks.
He seems to change the number plate after the crime avoids detection.
During the investigation, the police found 27 gold chains and cash 2.5 lakh at his residence, truly worth Rs 29.32 lakh.
Patil seems to wait for the price of gold to rise before selling this chain.
DCP Tambe said this was the highest number of gold chains ever found from charges on the commission of Nashik Police.
Of the money collected by selling a chain, Patil has bought a flat worth Rs 48 lakh and a car and has Rs 20 Lakh in two bank accounts.
