Chandigarh: With the third wave speculation from Pandemic Coronavirus Pandemi, Minister Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday warned the Ministry of Health officials to ensure the ‘appropriate’ health infrastructure in the state.
The minister’s chairperson took detailed updates of all medical facilities related to Covid, such as bed ventilators, beds equipped with oxygen, ICU beds, oxygen cylinder availability and concentrators, injections — remdesvir, amphotericin, todilizumab so there would be no shortage of equipment Or medicine for people in the state in the middle of the Covid crisis.
CM directs officials to do ‘gap analysis in the Ministry of Health to strengthen infrastructure and appoint a number of doctors, nurses, and paramedics adequately.
He asked the health department official to merek medical staff and ensure staff rationalization.
He further asked them to add medical staff so there was no shortage in the near future.
In addition, he asked the officers concerned to do the exercises to check the availability of the current ICU bed, a ventilator bed, and beds equipped with oxygen, drugs needed, neonatal ventilators, and children’s ventilators so that bridging the gap in health service infrastructure now.
Sharing concerns with respect to Covid pediatric cases, Khattar asked the Ministry of Health officials to anticipate the health infrastructure needed to treat cases of Covid pediatric and make the necessary settings.
