Gurgaon: The Mayor of Madhu Azad has written to the MCG Commissioner repeating his request for a separate office space for board members at 34 Civic 34 sector offices within 10 days.
Urban Local City Minister Haryana Anil Vij, at the meeting held in February, gave instructions to the commissioner that the room had to be allocated to board members at the MCG office.
“Even though there is direction by the Minister, MCG has not been able to allocate a separate office space for board members.
I have asked the Commissioner to act on the minister’s instructions in 10 days,” Azad said.
The council members have long demanded office space at the MCG office and has increased demand at home meetings in the past.
New Development Plan Vyapar Sadan includes the council council lounge.
“The office space was recently emptied by an executive engineer, has been occupied by the contractor.
Even the contractor now has an office space in the MCG building,” said Ravinder Yadav, member number 3 Ward.
This board member hopes to get an office space at the Vyapar Sadan building.
