Entered in 3 Med Universities on Hold, Neet Candidates to Suffer

Ranchi: Even because this year’s NEET test will be carried out on Sundays, medical candidates aimed at entering state medical colleges may have limited choices for learning near their homes because the National Medical Commission (NMC) has held acceptance to MBBS to MBBS.
Courses in the three new medical colleges are established in Palamu, Dumka and Hazaribag because of the lack of facilities needed.
In November 2020, Minister Hemant Soren had written a letter to NMC, asking the regulatory body to reconsider the decision.
Soren also asked the Chairman of the NMC Dr.
Suresh Chandra Sharma to allow acceptance for the 2020-21 session and assured him that the state government was committed to meeting all the academic and infrastructure requirements according to NMC norms on November 30 this year.
However, the Commission did not flutter and did not allow fresh entry in the last session.
However, even after Soren’s commitment, the situation of this medical college has not changed and a lot of work is still delayed.
NMC has highlighted this shortfall in his assessment.
The main part of deficiency is the lack of faculty members, the absence of libraries and laboratory equipment.
A senior citizen at Hazaribag Medical College said, “The infrastructure is no longer a problem because the building has been completed and we have enough room for academic activities.
However, the equipment needed in the laboratory is still a problem.
For example, there must be a gas pipeline to the laboratory, which must not have Done, and various instruments for experiments need to be installed.
“Meanwhile, candidates from the country, who hope there will be 300 additional seats for MBBS in the state, sad when they prepare for a Sunday examination.
“I hope that the prohibition of receipt to be completed before NEET 2021, but it will not happen now because the results will be announced in the next one month and we will have a lower seat to compete in the state,” said Pranjal Kumar, a medical candidate.
Additional Secretary (Health) Arun Kumar Singh said, “We strive to eliminate all the shortcomings in three universities.
We have also been advertised for recruiting faculty members and will be finished soon.”
