Rajkot: Thieves are covered with cash and Jewelry Rs 23 Lakh worth 14 lakh from home in Patrakar Society in Rajkot.
The owner of the house – who had gone to Rajasthan Udaipur during the festival period – to find out about the incident on Wednesday night and filed a complaint against unknown people.
According to the police, Mohsin Patel (63), a resident of Patraka Society, went to Rajasthan last Saturday with his family.
When he returned on Wednesday night, he found the room door on the first floor was broken.
Cash and valuables stored in the room are also lost.
“The thieves entered his house from the back and put to sleep with cash and valuables.
Patel has a chemical unit in Shapar on the outskirts of Rajkot,” police said.
The police reportedly accessed CCTV camera recordings and further probes were active.
