Entrepreneurs lose 1.5 lakh for cheating

Coimbatore: The 46-year-old businessman was cheated by 1.5 lakh by two people here on Saturday.
Police Saravanampatti said entrepreneurs, G Sukumar, 46, from Thoppampatti, running the company in Ganapati.
“Sukumar received a telephone call from a man, who introduced himself as Vicky.
He said he was an employee of a private finance company and would lend it 10 lakh without documentation.
Trust him, Sukumar decided to get a loan,” said a police officer.
“On Saturday, the person was named Sukumar and told him that the loan was ready and Sukumar had to pay 1.5 lakh as processing fees.
He also told him to bring the money to Kalatti Road, where the callers and other men received money from Sukumar And hand the bag work, “the officer said.
When Sukumar returned to his office, he opened a work bag and found a fake item from a currency note, the officer said.
