Coimbatore: After the State Government refused to allocate Rs 1.75 Crore to score five pages of lakh chargesheet and other documents in connection with fraud in a good future, economic violations of the Wing (EOW) police plan to move the High Court Madras to get to provide details in Digital format to the defendant.
The EOW police must provide a chargesheet copy, mentioned as the most in the state, up to 47 accused.
In April, officials submitted a petition before a special court for the court case registered under Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest Depositor (in Financial Agency) ACT, 1997, asked permission to serve chargesheet in digital format.
However, the defense advisor registers strong objections and demands print documents.
Next, the court rejected the petition.
When EOW officials searched Rs 1.25 Crore to score five pages lakh Chargesheet, the state government refused to provide sanctions in number.
Officials sent letters to senior officials last May, looking for Rs 1.75 Crore.
The government refused again and instructed officials to discuss with the public prosecutor to sort this problem.
“We plan to appeal before HC to get orders to provide details in the 47th digital format.
This case has been delayed for the past two and a half years.
The trial will continue after the problem is sorted,” the official said.
