Nagpur: The disadvantaged retirees under the Aegis Coordination Committee (EPCC) employees (EPCC) have protested over their demands and observes ‘black days’ on November 16.
The main demand is climbing in retirement and free medical facilities.
According to the EPCC City Branch President Shyam Deshmukh and National Secretary General Prakash Pathak, the Black Day was observed by retirees from 27 countries to protest the reluctance of the BJP Government Minister Narendra Modi to climb retirement.
EPCC members throughout the country demanded amendments at EPS 1995 acting to open ways to improve their pensions.
Members submit a list of details of the demands to the Divisional Prajaka Lavangare Varma Commissioner, Fund Manager Provident Provident Collector and Collector.
Prakash Damle’s National Secretary, Treasurer Anil Kusare and Arun Karemore Treasurer Assistant is part of the delegation other than Deshmukh and Pathak.
EPCC members have appealed to PM to take the necessary actions in accordance with the recommendation of the Bhagat Singh Koshyari committee.
