Nagpur: A 13-year-old boy from Kampee died of dengue fever a few days ago.
Six more patients have died in private hospitals in the city.
However, according to official data, victims of dengue fever in the Nagpur Division consisting of six regencies remained in nine days.
In the last nine days, the division has recorded more than 500 cases of dengue fever while total has increased to more than 2,200 since January this year.
More than 90% of cases have been recorded since July.
Nagpur Regency has seen more than 340 cases in the past week.
