The Premier League has refused requests from the club to wear their away kit in a home match on a boxing day to support the Hunting Amal shelter, British media reported.
Shelter tweeted on Tuesday launched a ‘#nohomekit’ campaign, which urged the club and fans to “throw away the colors of their homes for their kits or third, showing support for people who do not have a safe house”.
We have spoken to people throughout the football community to launch #NoHomeKit.

The report said the house shirt that was not used must be signed by the player and then auctioned.
“The Premier League receives a large number of requests from charities every season but we cannot support them all centrally,” said Premier League spokesman to Sky Sports.
“The club has the right to support the causes of charity, and we encourage the club to do so, as long as it is in accordance with the Premier League rules.” Osama Bhutta, the Director of the Campaign in Shelter, said Charity wanted to increase awareness of homelessness through a campaign.
“We believe ‘home’ means everything.
We want to use positive power of this Christmas football, and the connection with us to ‘home’, to increase awareness of homelessness and what we can do to fight it,” Bhutta said.
“Everyone involved in #nohomekit can do something special by bringing all the same football communities to fight residential emergencies.” Former British defender Gary Neville tweeted: “Imagine refusing a request to collect money and awareness of homelessness” before adding that the club can force the Premier League to change his decision if they “push hard”.
