Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen was discharged from hospital following a successful performance, days later he fell on the pitch throughout Denmark’s Euro 2020 opener, that the Danish soccer association said on Friday.
Eriksen needed a heart-starter apparatus implanted following his collapse because of a cardiac arrest.
His life was spared if CPR was administered on the pitch and his soul had been re-started using a defibrillator until he had been taken into hospital.
