District immunization officer (DIO) Dr.
Puneet Junkeja said even when they had set the target of a population that meets the requirements on August 15, they could not reach it because of the irregular supply.
He said they would vaccinate the maximum people who met the requirements with whatever stock they got and there was a request for vaccination in this district.
Providing vaccination data, health department officials said about 16 lakh people between the ages of 18 and 45 years, around 4.5 lakh had at least one dose.
They added that from nine lakh people above the age group 45 years, more than 5.5 lakh people had received the first dose.

However, there is a limit because vaccine production is lacking.
