Thiruvananthapuram: Erroneous estimates ready for the building of multi-level vehicle parking (MLCP) facilities in the corporation’s primary office and Putharikandom beneath Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (Amrut) job have pressured the body to shell out extra sum to the tune of more than Rs 1 crore.
The estimate prepared by Kitco made mistakes in civil and electric quotes and even overlooked on need for overall lighting in multi-purpose vehicle parking facility.
The technology wing has noted that it had been because of this lapses in the job consultant Kitco the undertaking couldn’t be finished in time.

The company intends that because the sanction was granted for Medical College MLCP at Rs 14 crore, the extra amount could be utilized to fulfill the extra cost required for 2 other approaches.
