As we are all here, Ganesh Chaturthi has come with a lot of happiness and hope for Esha Deol.

Etime exclusively following Esha on this profitable occasion to find out about the celebration of Ganesh Utsav, the most beautiful memories of the festival and how the pandemic has changed the way we celebrate it.
Quote …
How do you usually celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi? From my childhood, Ganesh Chaturthi is something I always look forward to.
Every year, we welcome Ganpati Bappa’s house for 10 days.
The mandir and the decor are all done very beautifully.
Every year, we have a new theme and it keeps improving.
The only difference between it and now is that now we get home ganpati bappa which is environmentally friendly, given the safety of our environment.
Our ganpati idol of the last few years is all environmentally friendly.
Soaking is done at home in a large bucket.
We enjoy modaxes and puran polis.
Every day, new sweet dishes are made and we do aarti twice – in the morning and evening.
Both times there are sweet or special dishes made and offered to him.
We all look forward to ‘Sukh Karta, Dukh Treasure’ Aarti.
My daughter (Radhya and Miraya) likes to sing and do Aarti from Ganpati Bappa.
It’s fun to see the next generation take over and enjoy the same things we have done.
This is a wonderful time at everyone’s house.

The ongoing pandemic has changed the way we celebrate a festival in India for the most part.
How do you see this? With a pandemic, everything is very difficult.
It’s very difficult for us in this country where we have so many festivals to be awaited.
As an Indian, there is beautiful energy and enthusiasm when we all gather and celebrate the festival.
Exactly from Janmashtami to Ganesh Utsav to Durga Puja, everything is celebrated with a very enthusiasm.
Pandemic has now put the brake on it.
But I’m sure, with God’s grace and discipline that we all maintain, we will overcome this immediately.
We have come far from 2020 to 2021.
By 2020, we save it to a minimum, decorations wise and not invite others to visit our Ganpati Bappa at home.
This year I thought, everyone had controlled the situation quite well so we had taken it higher, but still not everything as we did every year.
It’s been a little more relaxed compared to last year.
Touchwood! Credit goes to us.
Mumbakar maintains great discipline, follows all protocols.
I hope this remains like this and finally disappears.
What are your beautiful memories related to Ganesh Chaturthi? From a very young age, I have appeared at Pune Ganesh Festival along with my mother and has done solo actions too.
This is a great celebration in Pune.
From a very young age, I have memories to go there, do and visit various pandals.
I lost a lot because this pandemic has begun.
Or, every year, we appear on the stage, living in front of a large audience.
They are beautiful moments.
I hope next year, we can return to the stage, appearing at the Pune festival in Ganpati.
Last year, we managed to appear during the peak of a pandemic.
My mother and I did a Ganesh show for TV channels.
The way we look very different.
We did our exercise more than zoom and finally, we appeared with a green screen background in our dance room at home.
They shot everything on the camera and it was cared for beautifully.
With a green screen, they combine background dancers that appear separately, thanks to VFX.
