ESI beneficiary children can take advantage of the quota in receipt of MBBS

Bhubaneswar: Not many are aware that there are quota for children from insured people under the Employee State Insurance Scheme (ESI) who are willing to accept entrance tickets in medical colleges carried out by State Employees of Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and College Higher government high throughout the country.
.
The ESIC Regional Office in Odisha has appealed to ESI beneficiary children to submit a quota when taking the entrance ticket to this medical college.
“They need to fulfill the requirements at NEET-UG-2021 to be eligible to register,” said an official.
ESIC Regional Office Director of Odisha Parthasarathy Panda said they had six Esik medical colleges and dental colleges throughout the country.
“In addition, three other government medical universities offer an insured quota (IP) to children beneficiaries,” said Panda.
He said a total of 382 MBBS seats and 28 BDS seats were in this college in this country.
The number of seats can change according to state and central guidelines, he added.
Officials said candidates under the IP quota were allocated seats based on their merit-cum preferences through centralized online counseling carried out by the Directorate General of Health.
The cost of receipt (for MBBS / BDS seats) is only RS 24,000 per year for candidates under IP quota.
“It is a good provision that can help many students in the state.
ESI beneficiaries or their children are not aware of this.
We ask them to visit our website or our office to find out this and get the benefits,” said Panda .
