SAINT PETERSBURG: Slovakia defender Denis Vavro plus also a team member have tested positive for Covid-19 before Friday’s Group E match against Sweden in Euro 2020, trainer Stefan Tarkovic stated Thursday.
Even the 25-year-old Vavro, that spent the next half of the year on loan in La Liga side Huesca out of Lazio, sat out Slovakia’s 2-1 win from Poland in their opening match on June 14.
Founded in Saint Petersburg on Wednesday,”Denis has no signs without any health issues,” Tarkovic informed reporters.
The two Vavro and the team member are all self-isolating and will probably leave the Slovakia camp.
Tarkovic reported the group was operating together with Russian health authorities and adhering to the UEFA regulations to block the virus from spreading.
“They then tested the whole logistics group and the folks who care for usand they discovered more positive individuals, such as our bus driver,” Tarkovic stated.
“It is tough to prevent the virus actually,” he further added.
