Miami: A three-story apartment building in South Florida was evacuated after an inspector found structural damage in an empty unit.
Fire officials on Miami Beach were called to the residential building on Saturday night, a spokesman Melissa Berhier in email.
A city building inspector found the floor system failure and “excessive deflection” on the exterior wall.
The building was evacuated from a cautious abundance, said Berthier.
This building contains 24 units, and 11 units are not inhabited.
Only one person who needs help by finding another place to stay.
The evacuation came when several housing buildings were being evaluated in response to the collapse of part of the South Champlain Tower in Surfside which had killed at least 24 people, with 121 people still not counted.

And a condo building with 72 units in Kissimmee, Florida, reported to Regency officials Tuesday after the contractor said there was a “significant” structural problem.
