MUMBAI: Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday led the state Education section to learn more about the potential for restarting universities and schools for pupils of courses 10 and 12 from the cities without Covid-19 instances.

Those villages and cities that have reported new coronavirus instances for quite a while and in which there are not any odds of locating new infections may be considered for lots of universities and colleges.

Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad, say Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunte, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) at the CMO Ashishkumar Singh, ACS, School Education Department Vandana Krisha, CMO Primary Secretary Vikas Kharage along with other officials of their college education department attended the assembly.
During the assembly, Gaikwad briefed the officers concerning the division’s continuing practice of ridding information of those pupils who lost both parents because of Covid-19.
Database of these pupils will be employed to frame a state-level plan of bearing their instructional expenditures.
The ministry has requested Gaikwad to submit an application using an estimated demand of the capital, the announcement said.
The CM also led the department to examine the formulation used by planks such as CBSE for assigning marks to pupils of courses 10 and 12 whose examinations stood cancelled because of the outbreak.
