Vadodara: The trend decreases in the case of Covid-19 continues despite a higher number of tests carried out in the city and the district in the last 24 hours ended on Wednesday night.
Testing increased by more than 1,000 with 4,770 tests reported on Wednesday night against 3,732 on Tuesday night.
However, newly reported cases of this test fell from 555 on Tuesday to 406 on Wednesday.
About a week now, the number of cases has fallen consistently, but this is also accompanied by reducing the number of tests.
The number of new cases Wednesday was the lowest after January 10 when 470 new cases were reported.
At the other end, the number of people discarded saw a significant increase with 2,198 people dismissed on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, 1,525 people have been repatriated in the city and district.
Active cases reach 4,704.
