Even when tigers face a crisis, Maharashtra failed to release funds

Nagpur: Even because there has been a 48% leap in the death of the tiger in the country, the central new financial regime to release funds to tiger reserves under the centralized sponsor scheme (CSS) has noted the release of money badly.
This affects the conservation work and protection of wildlife.
With three months left for books 2021-2022, the official website of the National Conservation Authority (NTCA) shows that out of 52 tiger reserves in the country, 33 has released the first installment under CSS.
However, tiger reserves claim they have not received funds.
In Maharashtra too, NTCA has released the first installment to all six tiger reserves but prohibits Tadoba-Andhari, Drill, and Sahyadri, which has received payment, the country has failed to release funds, greatly influence protection, and wildlife and wildlife and management work Habitat.
While NTCA officials blame countries to fall apart, according to them some countries still have not implemented the introduction of the new financial regime.
Under the scheme, the Ministry of Finance Union has asked the countries to establish the Nodal Country Agency (SNA), mapped by state hierarchies in the Public Financial Management System (PFMS).
This is a web-based online software system developed and implemented by a general controller account (CGA), department of expenditure.
Countries have established SNA at the state level in a commercial bank scheduled to be authorized to do government business by the state.
Other bank accounts from SNA for schemes must be closed and the balance is available in the account, if any, must be transferred to SNA.
The Secretary of State has promised through the effort that all the provisions below the new scheme will be fulfilled on December 31, 2021.
However, because the procedure has not been followed by countries, the release of funds has stopped.
In accordance with the NTCA website, the Tiger Authority has released the first installment of RS4.74 Crore to TATR, RS1.93 Crore to Penh, RS1.80 Crore to Drill, and RS1.29 Crore to Sahyadri.
“We have appointed SNA and the process to attach all tiger reserves that are in process.
From RS55.55 Crore, including state shares and the center approved for tiger reserves, NTCA has released the RS26 crore to the country but the reserve has not received it,” said an art officer Senior wildlife.
Wildlife activist Dr.
Jerryl Banait said, “It really becomes sickening that when our tigers face the worst crisis, the state of the lethargy does not release funds is not acceptable.
Because of the lack of funds, recurrent activities such as labor payments, benefits to staff, habitat repairs, Water facilities, fire protection, maintenance of various items, publicity and extensions, protection measures, and legal assistance to handle violations of wildlife and other items, have been greatly affected.
