Lucknow: Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connection will be given to every household in the city at the end of 2023.
In addition, in a year, around 80 roads in the country’s capital will be converted into “underground parking roads” and the underground parking lot will appear In Hazratganj opposite the official residence of the district judge.
This initiative is among 70 projects worth RS 397 Crore whose foundation was placed by Lucknow MP and Defense Minister Union Rajnath Singh on Tuesday.
Other projects include processing plants for waterways issued into the Gomti River, using phytoremediation techniques, placing sewerage pipes in several regions, the resurrection of three reasons for cremation and rainwater harvest factories at the LMC office.
Singh also inaugurated 110 projects worth RS 1,313 Crore on that occasion.
These include Chowk Flyover, Kisan Path, STP in Avantbai and Balrampur Hospital, Solar Systems in Hathi Park, ATM Health, EWS and Flat Lig in CG City, Music Fountain in Clock Tower, 57 Smart Roads and Wi-Fi Free Wi-Fi Six parks, among others.
The function held at the Amphitheater in Jyotiba Phule Parking Multi-level in Chowk was also attended by the Head of Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Minister of Dinesh Sharma and Keshav Prasad Maurya, Minister of Law Brajesh Pathak and Mayor Sanyucta Bhatia, among others.
Announced that the goal was to make Lucknow City number one in the country, Singh said, “I have been told by Green Gas Ltd that the target has been set to give PNG to every household in Lucknow which will reduce LPG consumption.” Flyover Chowk 2.2km Built by UP Bridge Corporation will benefit more than 50,000 commuters between Rajajipuram, Chowk, Aishbagh and Victoria Street.
The Flyover will also reduce travel time between Victoria Street and KgMu from 25 minutes to only 10 minutes.
Part of the lower construction road, the 11km channel, also officially opened for people.
Built at a cost of RS 280 Crore, the route connects Sultanpur Road to Faizabad Road.
Similarly, 57 roads built at the cost of Rs 125 Crore under the smart city mission are also dedicated to the public.
Singh said he could take a large-scale development project in his parliamentary constituency just because Yogi Adityanath was the head of the minister.
“The entire ring road will be ready in October 2022 and it will only be possible because Yogi Ji governance,” he said and added, “Deputy Minister of Keshav Maurya’s chairman also helped me.” Singh also said that the interests of cm and their representatives in the development of the country are the reasons behind rapid progress.
He appreciated CM’s efforts to care for orphans because of Covid-19.
Praising the law and the situation of the above order, Singh said that the heartbeat of the criminals stopped if they heard the name Yogi.
He also said that 90% of Indian populations have benefited by one or other BJP government schemes at the center.
