New Delhi: “All okay it ended well,” said the Delhi High Court after being told that the newly married couple, separated by the woman’s family, had been committed back towards him and stayed with safely in the national capital.
The High Court also appreciates Delhi police for “efficient and fast” actions in this case.
The woman, who was kept in her father’s place in neighboring Uttar Pradesh against her will, was taken back to Delhi to her marriage house following the direction of the High Court.
A justice bench Siddharth Mridul and Anup Jairam Bhambhani were told that when he left his parents’ house in Mirhechi in the Etha Up district to come to Delhi, he was threatened by family members close to terrible consequences.
The bench directs the Sho of Anand Parbat Police Station here to ensure the security and welfare of the couple.
“Everything is fine it ends well.
Remembering the above, relief praying for now, Habeas Corpus’s petition stands satisfied,” the court said because it was informed by the advice of the husband that the two had been reunited again.
The court was hearing the Habeas Corpus petition submitted by a husband who prayed that his wife, who illegally detained his family to return to Delhi, was produced before the court.
The court appreciated Delhi police, Yogendra Inspector, Sho and Sanjay Constable from the Anand Parbat Police Station for fast and efficient actions taken by them.
The High Court on August 2 has directed Delhi police and Uttar Pradesh to escort the woman to her wedding house from father’s place.
It has passed the direction after the woman, who has joined the video conference to hear from her parents’ house, “revealed his clear and decisive intention” and the desire to return and with her husband in Delhi.
The court said that it was a matter of note that the woman was married to her own free will in June 2021 at Aryjjajo Mandir in Rohini, after which the newlywed made their homes in the man’s house here.
However, then, it was claimed that the couple was separated by the wife’s family and he was taken to his parents’ house, the court had noted.
