New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday took friction in the midst of no compensation to farmers who died during protests against the three new agricultural laws, saying everything was recorded on those who lost loved ones.
“Everything is recorded in tears they lose their loved ones,” he said in a tweet in Hindi with the #Farmers Protest hashtag.
He also attached news reports that claimed that the government in a written reply said that “did not have such a note” when asked whether it was aware that a number of nervous farmers had died or fell ill during November since November.
The report said there were no proposals for compensation.
Farmers have protested three agricultural laws since November 26 last year on several borders of the national capital.
Farmers demand these laws and laws about MSP for plants.
