New Delhi: Minister of Home Affairs Pakistan Sheikh Rashid Ahmed asked Tehreek-I-Labbaik Pakistan forbidden (TLP) to hold on to the promises made with the government, warn that “everything will come out of my hand” if the group failed to do, Dawn reported .
The minister firmly stated that the government would stop the group into Islamabad.
He urged protesters to return, if not the country would be left without choice but to “build his writing”.
Rasheed said that while the government did not want violence, Imran Khan’s prime minister would not allow the country to become a “hostage”.
Overcoming TLP protesters, he said: “Losing you is our loss.” The Interior Minister said he had spoken with TLP leadership, including the Head of the Saad Hussain Rizvi Group, several times in the past few days and will talk to them again on Friday and Saturday.
“However, talks will only be arrested after (TLP) again.” Ahmed said TLP is committed to unblock roads and groups must fulfill their promises.
“If not, the problem will come out of my hand,” he warned.
He said he had tried to convince TLP to keep his promise, “but if you continue to move forward (towards Islamabad), you must be stopped at some point”.
