Chennai: Minister of Electricity Tamil Nadu V Senthil Balaji on Thursday directing officials to develop a five-year plan to produce more strength and strengthen the distribution network.
The minister held a meeting with Chennai circle officials.
“The minister said the five-year plan must get recognition of the main minister.
Power plants must be increased and the distribution network must be strengthened.
The five-year plan document must be submitted in a week,” the official release said.
Officials were told to divert complaints of complaints immediately.
Sms about the helpline number (9498794987) Minnagam, the exclusive complaint center that was recently opened by the ministerial head, must be sent to all consumers.
Tangedco’s office must display the helpline number, and the receipt of the bill must bear the number.
Assistant engineers and assistant executive engineers must immediately act after receiving complaints and contacting the complainant after expanding the same.
The minister told the officials to upload the details of the work taken by Tangedco on its website and important work carried out by the department to people through media and social media.
