Chennai: Two former Minister of Main – Edappadi K Palaniswami and O Panneerselvam – have transferred Madras High Court to bend the complaints of defamation filed by a former spokesman for former Aiadmk VA Pugazhendi, who was expelled from the party.
Pugalendhi has initiated a defamation process against the duo that said their statement in the notice of expulsion on duty to him, and was released to the media, describing it in poor light and totaling defamation.
The former head of the minister, however, believes that it becomes a coordinator and coordinator with the party, has the power to take discipline actions against members who surrender and train legitimate authorities will not defame.
Acknowledging the request, justice M Nirmal Kumar delayed the defense for the final hearing on September 13 and observed that the prime facie case supported the applicants.
Representing Panneerselvam, Vijay Narayan proposed that the actions taken against Pugazhendi are similar to actions taken by employees on employees involved in fraud.
