Patna: Two people were killed in a separate incident at Bihta in Western Patna on Friday and Saturday intervention.
While a former husband of Mukhiya, Rajkumar Sao aka Door Sao (45), was shot dead by criminals, a farmer, Siddhnath Lal (55), found killed in a field.
According to the source of the police, Sao’s body was also found in the field near Pac Godown in Painal by his family members around midnight.
The police said Sao might be intercepted by criminals who were transmitted by motorbikes and shot dead for political competition.
The Sao car was found on the village road near the place.
His wife Asha Devi was Mukhiya from Baank Panchayat under the Maner police station in West Patna.
His tenure ended on June 15 because the election could not be done because of the covid pandemic.
Sao has a house in Kanhauli Market in Bihta besides having his father’s house in Gopalpur Village in Baank.
He returned to Kanhauli from Gopalpur alone in his car when the incident happened.
Sho from the Bihta Police Station Rituraj Kumar Singh said Sao’s body was found lying in a pool of blood by his family members.
“They rushed Sao to the hospital, where the doctors claimed he was taken dead.
Sho of Maner Police Station Alok Kumar said Sao might be shot at close range.” A empty cartridge was restored from the place, “he added.
