Ex-Mumbai cricketer Ranjita Rane Moves way Because of cancer

MUMBAI: At a news that abandoned the town’s women’s cricket community stunned and shocked, former Mumbai cricketer Ranjita Rane, who performed 44 first class games for Mumbai between 1995 and 2003, passed out as a result of breast cancer in Wednesday morning. She was 43. For the last fortnight, she had been declared at the Tata Hospital because of the cancer therapy. The Prabhadevi resident has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer at 2015. She had been an allrounder, that was able to bowl medium-pace. Since 2017, she’d turned into a scorer for the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) after death a MCA scoring test in 2016. “She was out of a really poor family. Two-three decades ago, I’d helped her get monetary assistance from this Siddhi Vinayak Trust because of her therapy. I never played , but I understand that she had been suffering a good deal, particularly in her last couple of days. She had been in this bad shape in the long run, I would say it had been a relief for her that she’s passed out,” Diana Edulji, former India player and also a member of this Committee of Administrators (CoA), told TOI. This past year, she’d received any financial assistance for her expensive therapy, which travelled in many lakhs, by the MCA. “She performed Mumbai, Bombay University and also Indian Gymkhana. She was quite busy and a very helpful individual,” former Mumbai player-turned trainer Surekha Bhandare told TOI.
