With the incitement law, Jakim EX-SH Judge Rohinton Nariman last week said freedom of speech and expression in Article 19 (1) (a) the constitution was “the most important and valued human rights”.

If we really want to strengthen the legal rule as contained in our constitution, I would suggest that parliament change this provision to prove the minimum sentence, thus acting as a prevention for others to make this kind of hatred speech.
“Judge Nariman said “Whatever we think is trivial in terms of constitutional law rules will never be received.
It is very important to remember that eternal vigilance is needed not only for freedom but for freedom to be enforced by the court which is the rule of Indian law.”
