EX-SERVICEMENT holds a parade on the Singhu border on the 75th Independence Day

New Delhi: On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, EX-SERVICEMENT on Sunday held a march on the Singhu border where farmers protested to celebrate ‘Kisan Mazdoor Azadi Sangram Diwas’.
Satnam Singh’s veteran farmer leaders raised tricolor on the Singhu border and several cultural programs also marched, said the leader of the Raminder Singh Patiala farmer.
“Satnam Singh (85) lifted Tricolor at 11 o’clock in the morning, following where the former soldiers marched in their dresses.
DAV College students in Jalandhar will do ‘Bhangra’ for about one and a half hours,” he said.
The program will conclude about 3 to 4 in the afternoon.
Jamhuri Kisan Sabha General Secretary Kulwant Singh said the ‘Kisan Mazdoor Azadi Sangram Diwas’ was celebrated throughout the country.
“The former soldier marched from KFC restaurants to the main stage on the Singhu border.
‘Kisan Mazdoor Azadi Sangram Diwas’ is being celebrated throughout the country where people raise flags to support farmers,” said Patiala.
Other leaders said the national flag was also appointed on the border of Tikri.
He said there would be ‘Tiranga Yatra’ at the Ghazipur border.
“We lifted the flag at 8 o’clock in the morning.
‘Tiranga Yatra’ of 500 motorbikes from Hapur will reach the Ghazipur border around 2:00 p.m.
to celebrate independence day,” said Dharmendra Malik from Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU).
Farmers from various parts of the country have protested three laws since November last year.
While farmers have expressed concerns about the law that eliminates the minimum support price system, leaving them at the mercy of large companies, the government has projected laws as the main agricultural reform.
More than 10 rounds of conversation failed to break the deadlock between the two parties.
