CHENNAI/BENGALURU: Former IT Union M Manikandan of the AIADMK, Desired on a Murder Complaint, was picked from a villa Nearby Anekal City, on the outskirts of Bengaluru, from the Chennai police early on Sunday.
A celebrity from Malaysia had filed a police complaint using the Chennai authorities resisted Manikandan of rape and of going back to his promise to wed.
The actor stated she fulfilled Manikandan at 2017 when he had been and got near him once he promised to join in company ventures in Malaysia.
She followed him to many locations through his official tours.
She alleged that she had been tortured and made to abort after getting pregnant .
Police booked him under different parts of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) like rape, and inducing cheating and miscarriage.
Manikandam went lost about 10 days back after the Madras high court refused to provide him anticipatory bail in the case.
Early on Sunday, the Tamil Nadu police zeroed in to his friend’s villa in Thammanayakanahalli village nearby Anekal city,after having a tip-off and detained Manikandan.
He had been attracted to Chennai and made prior to the 17th metropolitan magistrate court Saidapet and remanded in judicial custody.
Adyar all-women authorities had registered a case against the prior Ramanathapuram MLA along with his buddy Barani, following the celebrity submitted a request in the city authorities Commissionerate.
Police sources stated that with the support of a quarry owner in Tirunelveli, Manikandan was remaining at the Grove nearby Bengaluru for eight weeks.
“He left predictions just utilizing WhatsApp to prevent detection,” explained a police officer.
