Coimbatore: The district crime department authorities have reserved former Valparai municipality commissioner K Paunraj along with others for misappropriating Rs 35.78 in the finance for development jobs.
Here is the second instance to be reserved against him as several months.As per the official records, a police source explained that the municipality had issued work orders for 31 developmental endeavors to MIY Constructions involving August 2020 and also January 2021 and paid off the company Rs 35.78 lakh upon finishing the projects.When the officers assessed the ban accounts, the source stated they discovered Paunraj had moved the sum to 3 bank account owned by Green Park and builder Manikumar on December 13, 2020.
