BELAGUGIVA: Police have ordered two candidates to use wigs to increase their height during the entrance examination to post police sub-inspectors on Thursday.
The arrest was Balesh Sandappa Durdundi from Jagnur Village in Chikkodi and Umesh N from Kulgod Village in Mudalagi.
Both of them put a thermocol to their heads and put on the wig above to increase their height.
Cheating case has been submitted at the Rural Police Station and the Bellagavi Market.
Balesh was arrested during the physical test held in the second Battalion of the KSRP in Mache Village, while Umesh was held at Dar Ground.
DCP (Law and order) Vikram Amte said both had been ordered under the IPC 420 and 511 section.
The source said while checking the high candidate during a physical examination, Sandappa and Umesh found wearing wigs and make-up was easily visible.
