Noida: Strict vehicle checks ahead of the celebration of independence day caused a long growl on the border of Delhi-noida on Friday.
The vehicle moves with a speed of snail at Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, DND and the Kalindi Künj route.

Chercanal Pankaj, who left home in the Noida 77 sector around 8.30 in the morning, was one of the commuters stranded.
“Snarl has started at the intersection of the 16 sector itself.

Traffic almost crawled between DND Toll and Lajpat Nagar area,” said Ramesh Sharma, who worked in the public sector that did.

DCP (traffic) Ganesh Saha said they had two meetings with traffic police in Delhi.

However, those who still succeed in entering can be parked near Shani Mandir in Sector 14,” he added .
Traffic police in Noida have suggested commuters to use alternative routes and call 9971009001 if there is a problem.
