Noida: Strict vehicle checks ahead of the celebration of independence day caused a long growl on the border of Delhi-noida on Friday.
The vehicle moves with a speed of snail at Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, DND and the Kalindi Künj route.
What was added to the problem was haphazard parking with trucks and other heavy vehicles, which were not allowed to enter Delhi until 2pm.
Because heavy vehicles stranded occupy most of the roads, only 2-3 paths are left for others to move.

Chercanal Pankaj, who left home in the Noida 77 sector around 8.30 in the morning, was one of the commuters stranded.
“Snarl has started at the intersection of the 16 sector itself.
The traffic is very slow on the film route,” he said.
The PANKAJ reaches the village of ASID in Delhi around 10 in the morning.
It takes almost double the time to achieve its goals.
“Usually, I reached within 45 minutes,” he said.
Brajesh Sharma, another commuter between Delhi and Noida, questioned the way the vehicle was being examined.
“Trucks and other heavy vehicles march on the border in front of the Republican Day every year.
But on Friday, some trucks are parked in a horizontal way in the middle of the DND bridge and occupy most of the road.

Many commuters complained that Snarls lasted until around 1:00 p.m.
and extended to the Lajpat Nagar bridge.
“I reached my office near Fort Siri around 1pm.
Traffic almost crawled between DND Toll and Lajpat Nagar area,” said Ramesh Sharma, who worked in the public sector that did.
Traffic transferring traffic police in Noida has decided to divert vehicles that are not allowed to enter Delhi to the eastern edge highway.
Heavy and medium vehicles are prohibited from entering the capital starting at 10pm on August 14 to the celebration of the last independence day.

DCP (traffic) Ganesh Saha said they had two meetings with traffic police in Delhi.
“The next drill will take place from 10 nights on August 14 to the last celebration.
We have issued an advisor that a vehicle that cannot enter Delhi will be transferred to Epe.
However, those who still succeed in entering can be parked near Shani Mandir in Sector 14,” he added .
Traffic police in Noida have suggested commuters to use alternative routes and call 9971009001 if there is a problem.
