Thiruvananthapuram: According to a tip-off, a group of excise officers in Vamanapuram scope on Wednesday seized fake currency notes having a face value of Rs 1.60 lakh when conducting a raid in an illegal liquor brewing facility.
The officers also captured 40 minutes of spirits and 1,220 minutes of clean from the center that served in a home at Thattupalam close Madathara beneath Palode police station constraints beyond the city.
The man who had been conducting the brewing facility fled visiting the officers coming.
A search was launched to monitor the defendant, that has been recognized as Irshad, a resident of Kochalummood.
Vamanapuram excise decision inspector G Mohankumar, that headed the group, stated Irshad was a habitual offender who had been detained by the officials of the identical range during the initial stage of the Covid-induced lockdown a year with 15 minutes of illicit liquor and 1,050 litres of clean.
