Prayagraj: Enthusiasm and anxiety witnessed among children in the age group 15 and 18 years on the first day of vaccination in several covid vaccination centers (CVCS) in Sangam City.
More than 1,500 teenagers were given Jab on the first day of vaccination.
In Moti Lal Nehru (MLN) the vaccination center of medical colleges, as many as 303 children in the 15-18 age group managed by Jabs on Monday.
In addition, a total of 36,188 recipients of all age groups were vaccinated in Prayagraj on Monday the highest in the state.
District Judge (Prayagraj) Sanjay Kumar Khatri along with Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Nanak Suggestion and District Immunization Officer (DIO) Dr.
Teeparath Lal inaugurated a 15-18-year covaxin session at MLN Medical College CVC in the city.

Utsav Singh told the Toi that while some teenagers were scared, others were quite eager to take JAB in the vaccination center.
He further added that there were three children who were mentally challenging which were also given the Covid-19 vaccine at the center.
“The majority of teenagers along with their parents arrived at vaccination centers to take Jab.
Medical staff while attending children arrived for vaccination, offering them the right mental support and managing their anxiety level,” said Dr.
Singh.
Teenagers also exchanged questions with doctors and medical staff on vaccinations.

The District Health Authority has set a vaccination target of more than 4.17 lakh teenagers in the age group 15-18 in Sangam City at 30 CVCs including 20 public health centers.
Registration for the vaccination of children has begun in the portal.
District immunization officers and the additional Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) Dr.
Teuth Lal told Ti that a total of 4.17 lakh children In the age group 15-18 will be borne by a special Vax drive.
He further added that at the initial stage, inoculation was being carried out in 30 selected centers including 10 in urban areas and 20 in rural areas.
Overall, 30 special health teams have been issued for Giving Jab to children.
Dr.
Lal also said that online registration facilities are available for beneficiaries and vaccination Children will be carried out in all 30 centers on the first day.
