Dharwad: After several Covid-19 cases emerged from schools and colleges, the Department of Public Teaching has directed school management to be careful and followed the standard operating procedure (SOP) to protect children from infected.
DDPI SS Keladimi on Tuesday held a meeting of education officers, managing Beos and school and issued directions to be adopted while doing class.

“All teachers must prepare to resolve the syllabus before the end of January.
Special classes must be made for poor children in the study,” he said.

“The principal is empowered to punish parents, teachers or non-teaching staff who are found chewing tobacco or smoking at school.
