Expandable rainfall may be at Bihar until Friday: meet

Patna: Southwest Monsun is likely to rise back in the east and northwest of India from July 8, which leads to heavy rainfall in Bihar and the countries next to the next five days.
The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has predicted medium to severe storms accompanied by lightning Bihar for the next 24 hours.
The shower intensity is also expected to increase over the next three days.
The IMD has issued a yellow code warning for storms with lightning in Bihar on Tuesday and orange warning for Wednesday and Thursday.

The state has received 423.9mm rainfall from June 1 to July 5, while normal rainfall for the same period is 220.5mm, leads to excess 92%.
Meanwhile, most places in South Bihar witness the maximum temperature in the range of 34-36 degrees C on Monday, which is one to three levels higher than normal.
