Patna: Patna and many other parts of the country that receive rainfall to moderate on Tuesday and India Department of Meteorology (IMD) has expected extensive rainfall in the country until September 18.
Even though the applicable rain spells tend to reduce the intensity above.
A few days, fresh shower spells likely to destroy the country Friday and so on.
An official at the Meteorological Center Patna said lightweight rainfall was happening in one or two places in North Bihar, several places in the southwest, South Center and many places in Southeast East Bihar in the last 24 hours.
The rainfall at Patna between 8:30 a.m.
and 17:30 on Tuesday was measured at 6mm.
The fresh rainfall spell is likely to occur around the weekend.
IMD stated in the All-India weather bulletin that cyclone circulation tended to develop above North North Sumatra on September 17.
It is likely to move the west-northwest to Bengal Odisha-West Beach for 48 hours and cause new spells to increase rainfall activities in the eastern part of India.
“Cyclone circulation is likely to weaken to the low pressure area because it will move towards Odisha and West Bengal.
The combined impact of the low pressure area above the North Chhattisgarh and the future cyclone circulation is likely to cause rainfall throughout the bihar from Friday and so on.
The intensity of rainfall tends to be relatively higher in the northern part of the country, “said Sanjay Kumar, a meteorologist at the Patna Meteorological Center.
Heatherman has linked the ongoing rain spells to the peripheral impact of the low pressure area above the North Chhattisgarh and side by side with North Odisha, which leads to moist winds in the region.
Officials at the Patna Meteorological Center said several districts in South West Bihar, including Buxar, Rohtas and Arwal could witness heavy rain too.
“One or two places in the southwest and the middle of the country also tends to witness the storm and lightning,” the official said.
