Madurai: taking into account that no substantial progress made for the establishment of Indian stocks (AIIMS) in Madurai, Madras High Curct on Tuesday observed that he estimated that the center would take the right steps to establish AIIM here earlier , preferably in 36 months.
The bench of the Justice Division and Kirubukan and Justice B Pugalendhi observed that progress in connection with the establishment of AIIM in Madurai did not occur at the expected speed.
While other proposals for AIIM companies in various well-developed places, substantial progress has not been made in connection with the establishment of AIIM in Madurai even though construction will be completed within 45 months.
The judges observed that as indicated by the applicant, for every step, he (the applicant) must approach the court to get the right order for the establishment of AIIM in Madurai.
The judges observed that the court expected that the center, without waiting for court orders, would take steps to establish AIIM in the earliest Madurai.
The judges also direct the center to accelerate the process of appointment of project consultants to establish AIIM at the beginning.
The court issued orders when removing litigation of public interest proposed by KK Ramesh Madurai, a person who acts as a party-in-person looking for the direction to the center to allocate sufficient funds and to accelerate construction work for the establishment of AIIMS in Madurai.
