MADURAI: Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reevaluate the AIIMS job at Thoppur at Madurai that has seen no improvement because the foundation stone had been laid by him over two decades back.
In a letter to the PM, he stated that there are reports of this job being initiated temporarily in a different area.
Stalin explained that following the PM placed the foundation stone on January 27, 2019, the Tamil Nadu authorities had moved the property for its esteemed establishment into the Government of India.
But, there’s not been any physical improvement then.
Fast-tracking operate on the establishment is essential for supplying quality tertiary services to individuals belonging to both the southern districts in addition to the neighboring countries.
He explained it was learnt that the Union government has appointed a president, executive manager and a number of committees for the job.
However, additionally, it occurs that these committees don’t have any obvious authority to perform a job of this size.
Meanwhile, reports have surfaced which the option of beginning the establishment temporarily in another place has been contemplated.
This will further delay the job.
Consequently, he asked Modi to create a dedicated group of officers with sufficient administrative and financial abilities instantly to expediting the job.

The state government will extend all cooperation required for the immediate commencement and conclusion of this undertaking, ” he explained.
