Chennai: Minister M K Chairman Stalin on Tuesday conducted a review of the Rail Metro Chennai project and instructed officials to accelerate the job extension of the phase-1 line from Meenambakkam to Kilambakkam and from Tambaram to Velachery.
He told officials to complete the construction of the phase-2 corridor in the deadline and open a line for the public.
The minister’s chairman reviews the metro railroad operation that exists from the phase-1 phase-1 45km extension and 9km.
He also reviewed the progress of construction work in the Phase-2 118.9km project.
