Bhagalpur: Deputy CM Tarkishore Prasad, who was on a two-day visit to the district, asked the officials concerned intensifying development work.
At a review meeting with Bhagalpur Smart City and the district officials on Thursday night, said Prasad, “Our focus is on ‘Bihar Atmanirbhar’ (Bihar which is quite independent) along with ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (independent India).

Prasad reviews the collection of income under various heads, including commercial taxes and sales, GST, city tax, roads and transportation taxes and mining taxes.
He also took stock of Implementation of PM Gramin Sadak and Jiwan Hariyali Jal scheme.
Deputy CM visited the historic Sandy compound and saw sustainable works related to the path, Lawn tennis court, open air theater and the boundary wall.
He asked district officials to design ways for a permanent solution from the tribulation of parking in the city.
“Make a temporary setting up to four multi-storey car parking places built in places that are intended,” Prasad to officials.
On Friday, Deputy CM discussed the issue of development with JD (U) MP Ajay Mandal, Gopalpur MLA Neeraj Kumar aka Gopal Mandal, Pirpainty MLA Lallan Paswan, Kahalga Pawan Yadav, CLP Leader Ajit Sharma, Mayor of BMC Saha, Deputy Mayor of Rajesh Verma, Deputy , Zila Parishad Chairson is legitimate and BJP officials before leaving for Patna.
